Yay, this looks great! I really like the OC shading, it's a softer look that fits the sketchy lineart well and also has Nadia-ish flair. Love the color scheme, I expected something more pastel, but the high contrast and bold color are quite eye-catching! Also, the hair reminds me of milk chocolate... The detailed shading you created on the hair draws the eye to it, which works really well with the muted color. A brighter color probably would have caused too much focus on the hair. I actually like the white background instead of the bed, it makes the image remind me of a fashion shoot for a magazine.

As for my quibbles...one of the things I've liked about several of your recent pictures has been the use of large areas of shadow to convey 3D shape. I'm not seeing much of that here. The small, contouring shadows that show small shapes and wrinkles look lovely and would have been complemented by some bigger ones ([link] is a good example of yours). The other thing is that the black-based shadows on her skin make her appear a bit ashen. You may want to try using an orange or red based shadow layered over the peach for a more lively skintone!

Overall Nadia, I'm very impressed and think this is a new level of quality coloring from you! Also, kudos to Kuo for the pretty sketch ^_^

Wow, thank you so much for your awesome and detailed critique! =3 I definitely want to use the sketchier shading in the future! Ha, milk chocolate hair--I like it, and it was definitely not intentional! XD

I totally agree about the 3D impression of the shading. I was wondering where it went! I pictured the light source to be fairly low, above (below in the picture) the lower corner. I guess I was rushing too much in the end for that sort of shading. O_o I'll experiment more with my shading colors, too! I might even try having multiple shades in my base color instead of just one! =3
