"Oh look at the weeny owl! Isn't he cute?"
-Third year girls, page 405, Chapter 23, "The Yule Ball", in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Definitely one of my favorite moments in book 4, when Ron's adorable gray Scops owl, Pigwidgeon (Pig for short), comes back from delivering a letter and instead of coming straight to Ron, he stands around showing off on a icicle-laden banister, leading some passing third-year girls to say that line. And yes, I would totally join them. I LOVE Pig! He's so adorable!!
Instead of my usual airbrushing, for most of the pic, including Pig himself, I used the watercolor brushes in OpenCanvas, set to oil painting. Definitely an experimental picture, but I'm satisfied!
